The Manga Book Club will have its next meeting on Saturday, August 2, from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Mesquite North Branch Library, 2600 Oates Dr.
We're going to make some temporary changes to our format for the next few weeks. We've been invited to participate in this fall's Big Read project on Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. We watched the movie last time, so now we will start on our art projects. While we work, we can discuss the characters and the differences between the book and how they were portrayed in the movie. If you missed our showing of the movie and haven't read the book yet, don't worry. We'll be doing enough discussion that you'll soon catch up.
