This is the place to discuss the series Firefighter! Daigo of Fire Company M. I'm not going to tell you to avoid all spoilers, but do be careful and keep in mind that not everyone has read all the books (so far!) And if you haven't read them all, just be aware that there may be spoilers in the comments.
Is anybody reading this series? I notice it has lower circulation than most of the other series, and no one has been coming up to the desk breathlessly asking when we're going to get the next volume. I've read the first volume and I rather enjoyed it. Daigo goes through firefighting school and is excited to be assigned to his first fire company but he still has a lot to learn. He keeps wanting there to be a big fire so he can rescue someone and be a hero, not realizing that the biggest sign that they're doing their job right is when there aren't any major fires. So who's read this? And what do you think of it?
