The Manga Book Club will have its next meeting on Saturday, July 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Mesquite North Branch Library, 2600 Oates Dr.
We're going to make some temporary changes to our format for the next few weeks. We've been invited to participate in this fall's Big Read project on Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, so we'll be watching the movie at this meeting. In our upcoming meetings, we will work on some art projects relating to the book--specifically the five main characters of the book: Guy Montag, the fireman; Mildred Montag, his wife; Clarisse, the teenage girl who lives nearby; Captain Beatty, the fire chief; and Professor Farber, the retired English professor.
